Finally Getting Somewhere With The PTC Sites

After a few weeks (I haven't really been keeping track of how long it's been) I'm finally to the point on my PTC sites where I can start renting referrals. It seems nearly impossible to get direct referrals, despite the few hits I have had on some of my links. Now some sites allow you to rent referrals as soon as you get enough cash for one, others make you wait until you can buy three. The trend with all of them, at least with the free accounts, is that they make you wait a month before you can start earning from them, I think. It's kind of hard to tell the difference between what you are actually getting and what they are telling you that you are making.

It seems that they are making more money from me recycling referrals than I am by having them.

One problem with renting referrals is that you don't get to pick who you get. Obviously, not everybody that has signed up for these sites has continued to participate, but their accounts are still active. I'm finding that I have to keep recycling referrals to get one that has been active recent enough for me to make any kind of commission on them. It seems that they are making more money from me recycling referrals than I am by having them. I just keep telling myself that eventually I will get some good ones. Apparently, rented referrals are not nearly as good to have as direct referrals. Now if I could only get the whole direct referral thing down, I'd be in business!
